Punta Beach, also known as Velika Plaža, is the main beach in Omiš and one of the most spacious sandy beaches in the area. Located about 25 km south of Split, it’s easily reachable by bus or car, making it a popular day trip destination. The beach offers a wide sandy shoreline with shallow waters, making it especially suitable for families and casual swimmers. You’ll find beach bars, sports activities like volleyball and paddle boats, and plenty of room to relax or play.
